$12,500 top at 5 Star Senepol

The 37-month-old, 884kg, 5 Star Dirty Deeds (above) made $11,500 at the annual 5 Star Senepol Sale, CQLX, Gracemere selling to the Goddard family, Eucumbene Grazing Company, Eucumbene, Bollon.
With the Senior champion from Beef 2015 are Rick Green, Goovigen along with Guthrie Maynard and Rene Schipper, 5 Star Stud, Jambin.
Strong return clientele saw Senepol bulls topped $12,500 while Senepol/Belmont hybrids sold to $9500, Senegus hit $9500 and Senelais made to $11,000 at the 5 Star Senepol Sale, CQLX, September 2015 at Gracemere.
Vendors, Geoff and Alison Maynard saw their cattle sell to all parts of the state ending in a complete clearance on the way to setting a bottom line average of $6845.
In a breakup of the offering 38 Senepol bulls averaged $7724, while 10 Senepol hybrids averaged $6650 and 14 Senegus saw a $4893 medium while nine Senelais provided their owners with a $6389 average.
Top selling bull was the $12,500 21-month-old, 748kg, WSJ 14006 (Quirran-Lea Fagan) offered by Wayne and Jackie Spoor, Aurora Stud Jambin selling to Derrick Baker, Tally Ho, Springsure. Aurora picked up a 22-month-old, $7500 son of 5 Star 070820 (AI).
Next best was the 37-month-old, 884kg, 5 Star Dirty Deeds selling for $11,500 to Lyndon and Dereck Goddard, Eucumbene, Bollon. Dirty Deeds was the Senior champion from Beef 2015 and delivered scans of 6/5mm, 143 EMA and 5.0IMF. Eucumbene signed off on five to average $8700.
Shane Stafford, Stafford Stock and Property, Richmond acting for regular supporters, Alistair and Jo McClymont, Burleigh Station, Richmond, selected four to average $10,000 topping at $11,000 for a 22-month-old by 5 Star 050462 (ET). Shane Watts, Sonoma Station, Collinsville picked up 11 throughout for on average $6909 topping at $8000 on three occasions.
Edward and Anna Bassett, Jenavale, Roma took with them a pair of Senelais to average $6500 while also lending support was Ken Braithwaite, Winchester Downs, Moranbah taking a trio for a $5833 average to top at $8000.
Regulars, Allan Stevenson and family, Spring Creek, Springsure returned selecting five to average them $7000. Top of their selections was a 32-month, 868kg Senelais (Granville Asher) for $11,000. Colin Dunn, Sorrell Hills, Duaringa took six to average $5750 to top at $6000 on three occasions. The Schmidt family, Nardoo, Emerald selected five Senelais for $5500 three times to average $5100. The Byrne family, Holroyd Station, Coen took four for on average $4500 with Neil Rockemer, Booubyjan ended with three for a $6833 medium. Grant sand Carly Burnham, Bonnie Doone, Monto selected a pair for a $6500 average from the Senepol and Senepol hybrid section of the offering. The Suttle family, Theodore selected three for a $5667 average topping at $6500. John and Jan Burnett, Bendemeer, Clermont outlaid $9500 for the top selling Senepol/Belmont entry aged 22-month which was a three quarter Senepol, one eight Belmont Red and one eight Bonsmara configured individual. David and Lyn Anderson, Tindara, Banana chose a $9500 21-month-old Senepol by 5 Star Longfellow.
